In 2020, two local Kansas City brothers had an idea: bring a little extra joy and Christmas magic to their hometown during a holiday season unlike any other. That idea became Winter Magic, a holiday tradition now shared by thousands of families each year.

Now celebrating our 7th season, Winter Magic has earned its place as one of Kansas City’s favorite Christmas traditions — inviting families and friends to experience more than a mile of synchronized holiday lights, animated displays, and festive music from the comfort of their own vehicles.

Open nightly from November 4, 2026 through January 2, 2027 at Platte Purchase Park in Kansas City’s Northland, Winter Magic brings together the joy of Christmas, the excitement of a holiday light show, and the simple magic of making memories together — one carload at a time.

Just grab your ticket online, pack in the whole crew (even the pets!), and come see where Kansas City celebrates Christmas together.
