1. Sponsor:
The Holiday Light Drive Fundraiser Contest (“Contest”) is sponsored by Winter Magic, located in Kansas City, Missouri. This Contest benefits Children’s Mercy Hospital, with 100% of online donations (minus credit card processing fees) directed to Children’s Mercy Hospital. Winter Magic does not keep any donation funds.
2. Eligibility:
The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Entrants must be able to participate by driving through the Winter Magic event in Kansas City, Missouri. Children, families, friends, and pets are welcome as passengers, but the registering adult (18+) is the official entrant.
3. How to Enter:
To participate, entrants must: Register online and pay the $30 entry fee per car. This fee covers admission to the Winter Magic Holiday Light Ride event on November 1, 2025. Provide a short description during registration (required). Attend the event on November 1, 2025 at 7pm, where an official contest photo of the decorated car and group will be taken inside Winter Magic by the event photographer. Limit one entry per car. Multiple cars from the same group/family may enter if each pays the entry fee.
4. Contest Submission:
Each entry consists of: 1. The official photo taken during the Holiday Light Drive. 2. The short description submitted at registration. These materials will be displayed on the online voting page for the Contest.
5. Voting:
Voting is donation-based only. Each $1 donated to an entry will count as one (1) vote for that entry. No free votes will be permitted. Voting will open on November 2, 2025, and close at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on November 19, 2025.
6. Winner Selection & Prizes:
The entry with the highest number of votes (donations) at the close of voting will be declared the 2025 Holiday Light Ride Champion winner. Additional small prizes may be awarded at the discretion of Winter Magic. Prizes may include items such as: a Season Pass to Winter Magic, snacks, LED light-up toys, or other Winter Magic merchandise. The approximate retail value (ARV) of all prizes will not exceed $250. Prizes are not transferable, and no cash alternatives are available.
7. Notification of Winners:
Winners will be notified via the email address provided at registration and may also be announced on Winter Magic’s website and/or social media pages. Winners must respond within 7 days of notification to claim their prize.
8. Donations:
All online donations made during voting are processed by a third-party payment processor. All donations go directly to Children’s Mercy Hospital (minus standard credit card processing fees). Winter Magic does not retain or profit from donation funds.
9. Publicity Release:
By entering, participants grant Winter Magic permission to use their name, likeness, description, and entry photo for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10. General Conditions:
By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of Winter Magic, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winter Magic reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest at its sole discretion. Void where prohibited by law.
